Wearing Your Jewellery

To preserve the finish of your jewellery, we recommend putting your pieces on as the final step in your routine.

Avoid direct contact with:

• Perfumes and body sprays
• Lotions and creams
• Hair products
• Cleaning products and household chemicals

These substances may affect the finish of your jewellery over time and reduce its brilliance.

We recommend removing your jewellery before:

• Showering or bathing
• Swimming
• Exercising
• Sleeping

Exposure to water, chlorine, sweat and moisture can accelerate natural wear and may affect the finish of plated jewellery.

Cleaning Your Jewellery

After wearing, gently wipe each piece with a soft, dry jewellery cloth to help maintain its shine. If additional cleaning is required, use warm water and a mild soap before carefully drying with a soft cloth.

Avoid harsh jewellery cleaners, antibacterial soaps and abrasive materials.

Storage

When not being worn, store your jewellery in its original Emi Emilia packaging, away from direct sunlight and moisture. To help prevent scratches, we recommend storing pieces separately rather than together.

A Note on Plating

Our gold-plated and rhodium-plated pieces are designed to be enjoyed and worn regularly. Over time, all plated jewellery may naturally show signs of wear depending on individual wear habits, care and environmental factors.
